Facebook globally launched a new mobile version of the Creator Studio app for mobile devices including iPhone and iPad which helps to manage your Facebook Pages on mobile devices. Snapchat has now launched its new Bitmoji TV which will be a weekly “show” within Snapchat that stars you and your friends’ Bitmoji avatars. The show launched on February 1st, and it will have a season of 10-episodes, with new episodes debuting weekly, reports Variety and each of these episodes will run about four minutes. ‘Bitmoji TV’ will create the custom Bitmoji avatars of you and your Snapchat friends the stars of their full-motion cartoon series.

During 2018, NBC Olympics’ content on Snapchat reached more than 40 million unique users in the United States which is over 25% from the 2016 Rio Olympics.

As reported by Variety, US broadcaster NBC will release more than 70 episodes across four daily shows on Snapchat, which is more than triple the number of episodes compared to the 2018 winter Olympic Games. This is the first time, NBC Olympics will create highlights of 2 shows daily, which will be updated in near real-time throughout the day with key moments from the game day in Tokyo.

There will be also two unscripted shows, including the return of ‘Chasing Gold’, which explains the journeys of Team USA athletes and their preparation to compete for gold on the world’s biggest sports feast. The second show will be a recap of the day’s memorable Olympic moments.

NBC Olympics president Gary Zenkel said. “Snapchat is a very influential platform,” and “They have a large and young audience that we want to reach, and we also want to offer our advertisers a way to reach that audience.” NBC is the official seller of advertising for all the content to be published on Snapchat during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. 

The Peacock subscription streaming video service will feature all the live coverages of the Tokyo Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies before they air on NBC in primetime. It will also stream three daily Olympic shows such as Tokyo Daily Digest, Tokyo Live, and Tokyo Tonight.

Snapchat Audience

According to Snap, Over 210 million users daily login Snapchat in the third quarter of 2019 and spending an average of around 30 minutes per day on the app. In the U.S., the company claims Snapchat reaches 90% of all 13- to 24-year-olds and 75% of those 13-34.

Sean Mills, Snapchat’s head of content said, “This is big because it expands on what we’ve done in the previous two Olympics. We’ve never had this level of coverage.” and also “There’s an entertainment aspect, a sports aspect and a news aspect to the Olympics it’s like almost like no other event.”   

The NBC Olympics four daily Snapchat Shows

  • Highlights show comprising NBC Sports broadcast footage and editorialized captions (premiering June 2020)
  • A single Olympic event highlights show that will be updated in near real-time and will feature HD clips of Team Trials and Tokyo Games (premiering June 2020)
  • A daily NBC Olympics hosted studio show focused on storylines, memes, trends, and culture around the Tokyo Games (premiering July 2020)
  • “Chasing Gold” is a series that describe the Team USA athletes competing in this Olympics (premiering July 2020)

NBC also made a similar deal with Twitter, to telecast Olympics content including an exclusive 20-minute live daily studio show from Tokyo.

LinkedIn Growth Rate in 2023

According to the new report from the leading marketing research firm eMarketer, the LinkedIn platform is growing faster than we expected. In 2019, the number of monthly U.S. LinkedIn users increased by 8.8% which is higher than the previous year’s estimate was just over 7%. This year, we may expect that there will be around 62.1 million U.S adult LinkedIn users which will grow 4.2% in 2021 that is 64.7 million. By the end of 2023, we expect there to be 68.8 million users access LinkedIn, forecasting by eMarketer.

These new stats are based on updated membership data from parent-company Microsoft and other sources. For businesses on LinkedIn, user growth could be increasing because of ad performance and content engagement. eMarketer principal analyst Jillian Ryan said, “LinkedIn continues to innovate its platform and offerings for both users and advertisers.” 

“Although, when compared with social platforms like Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn can be considered a slower follow, the social network has recently launched features like LinkedIn Live and Events,” she said. “While these new experiences aren’t unique to LinkedIn, the use cases for professional audiences can be differentiators for maintaining current users and attracting new ones.”
