Download Instagram Data

- Go to your Instagram profile & Tap on the hamburger menu (3 lines at the top right).
- Tap on Your Activity.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Download your Information.
- Enter your email address
- Enter your Instagram account password.
- Now tap next on the top right corner.

Instagram will email you a link to a ZIP folder that consists of every photo you’ve posted, but also separate folders with every photo sent using direct messaging, every Instagram story you’ve posted or shared, your profile pictures, and your videos.
The folder also contains JSON files, which are JavaScript files used for structuring your Instagram data. More importantly, these JSON files are in a format of easily readable by both machines and humans.
How long does Instagram data download take?
Instagram usually sends a copy of your downloaded profile data within 48 hours and at max, it takes up to 14 days. The download link of your data only works for four days from when you receive it in your email. So without a delay, download and save your files when you receive the email link.
