If your Page or Pages are deactivated, people will not be able to see your Page or find your Page if they searching for it. If you want your Page to be running, you can give someone else full control of your Page. You will be able to deactivate your account without deactivating the Page.
• You can reactivate your account at any time by logging in back into Facebook or by using your Facebook account to log in to other websites, applications, or games. You will only need to have access to the email or mobile number that you use to log in.
How To Deactivate Facebook Account
You can temporarily deactivate your Facebook account by following the below steps.
1. Log In to your Facebook account on pc. Click in the top right of Facebook on the down arrow.
2. Select Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Click Your Facebook Information (in the left column) > Deactivation and Deletion.
You can also download your information from Download your Information.
4. Choose Deactivate Account, then Continue to Account Deactivation and follow the instructions to confirm.
5. You enter your password.
6. It’s required to give a reason for leaving. You can further explain your reason, opt-out of receiving future emails, and Keep using Messenger.
Each option in Reason for leaving will give you the solution from the Facebook Help Center and log out option.
If you don’t choose Email opt-out, you keep receiving emails for tags in photos, posts, or invites to join in groups and events from Facebook. Or if you choose it, you will not receive any kind of email or notification.
You also have a choice to keep using Facebook Messenger even after deactivating your account. Or you don’t choose it, in that case, you will be not able to use but the previous message can still be seen in another’s Messenger as it is stored in the receiver’s memory.
7. You click on Log Out. Your account will deactivate until you Log In again which will reactivate the account.
If you delete your Facebook profile:
• You cannot be able to reactivate your account.
• You have 30 days to cancel your account from being deleted, after this, you would not be able to access your account or recover any information.
• Facebook delay the deletion for 30 days after its request. You can cancel the account deletion request by logging back into your account during this time.
• Any kind of content ever uploaded, shared, or created will be permanently deleted. All of the detail of your profile, posts, photos, videos, and everything else you’ve added will be deleted.
• You also cannot use Facebook Messenger.
• You won’t be able to use your Facebook log in for different apps that you used previously to sign up for apps or websites, like Spotify or Instagram. You will have to contact the apps or websites to restore those accounts.
• Some data, like private messages in Facebook Messenger you sent to friends, will still be visible to them after you delete your account. Duplicate of messages you have sent are stored in your friends’ Messenger.
How To Delete your Facebook Account:
1. Log In to your Facebook account on the web browser. Click in the top right of Facebook on the down arrow.
2. Select Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Click Your Facebook Information (in the left column) > Deactivation and Deletion.

4. Click Delete Account, then click Continue to Account Deletion.
5. Choose Permanently Delete Account, then click Delete Account.
6. Enter your password and then click Continue.
7. Facebook will ask one more to permanently delete your account, If you are ready then click Delete Account.

How To ReActivate Your Facebook Account
If you feel like you made the wrong decision or want to revert your Facebook deactivate action, you can do it within 30 days of the deletion request. To reactivate your Facebook account and cancel the deletion by simply Log In. After 30 days, the deletion will begin, and you won’t be able to recover any of the content or information you’ve shared in your profile, posts, photos, or pages. Facebook can take up to 90 days to deletion, it may vary from account to account.
