Trump Media and Technology Group on Feb 20th, 2022 launched a social media app called Truth Social in Apple’s App Store but it’s currently available for ios users. Right now, Truth social media app is not available for android users but soon they will plan to launch it.
Update – Trump’s Truth Social launched the web app version of the social network, which will allow users to access the website on their computers. This web app also looks and acts very similar to Twitter.
Truth Social is America’s “Big Tent” social media platform that encourages an open, free, and honest global conversation without discriminating against political ideology. In TRUTH Social where you can share your thoughts, photos, videos, memes, or links on your news feed. Like Twitter, here you can also ReTruth (ReTweet) a Truth someone posted on their timeline.
Truth App users can also add a web link to your profile which is a very useful way to share more information about yourself, your business, or other social media accounts. To add a link, go to your feed, tap on your Avatar icon (upload profile photo if missed) → Tap on Profile → Tap on Edit Profile → Under Website → Enter a website URL → Tap on Save.
Truth Social Media App Download
As soon as this Truth social media app launched on the app store, many users downloaded it and made it the top free app available on the Apple App Store early Monday. Truth Social was automatically downloaded to Apple devices belonging to users who had pre-ordered the app.
Many users reported having trouble creating a Truth Social account or were added to a waitlist with a message: “Due to massive demand, we have placed you on our waitlist.”
“This week we will begin to roll out on the Apple App Store. That’s going to be awesome because we’re going to get so many more people that are going to be on the platform,” Nunes said on” Fox News with Maria Bartiromo”.
“Our goal is, I think we’re going to hit it, I think by the end of March we’re going to be fully operational at least within the United States,” he added. The company says it is planning a video-on-demand service dubbed TMTG+ that will feature entertainment programming, news, and podcasts.
Nunes posted that he welcomed new users and also requested users to follow more accounts, share photos, and videos, and participate in conversations, in an apparent attempt to drum up activity and who appeared to be a Catholic priest and encouraged him to invite more priests to join, according to the person with knowledge of the matter.
Trump hadn’t posted at all since the platform launched, according to Axios.
Trump Media & Technology Group will be listed on Nasdaq through a merger with Digital World Acquisition. The firm merging with Trump’s company is a blank-check acquisition firm led by former investment banker Patrick Orlando. Trump Media & Technology Group will receive $293 million in cash that Digital World Acquisition had in trust.
