Popular audio-only social media platform, Clubhouse, has finally introduced its Android version app after more than one year of its initial launch. As of now, this app will be available only to users in the US right now and the company said it would be coming to other “English-speaking countries” and all over the world in the future. “Our plan over the next few weeks is to collect feedback from the community, fix any issues we see, and work to add a few final features such as payments and club creation, before rolling it out more broadly,” the company said in an official clubhouse blog website. Users outside the USA can pre-register for access via the Clubhouse page in the Google Play store, to be notified when the Android app is available in their area.

However, Clubhouse says this platform will remain invite-only for now, meaning it’s still not open to just anyone without an invitation. But they can use this audio-chat only app if they are invited by someone who is already on Clubhouse, “as a feature of the work to keep the development estimated,” the organization said in an articulation. Ridiculous, the organization intends to start moving what it says is a huge number of iOS clients who have been waitlisted while the organization fabricated the application’s foundation.

Clubhouse Statistics

Clubhouse – Drop-in audio chat had about 13.4 million users in late March, according to social media research company App Annie. But after peaking in February, with 9.6 million downloads, it had had just 2.7 million in March and 900,000 in April, mobile-app-store analysts Sensor Tower said.

Clubhouse’s popularity has increased significantly over the past year, mainly thanks to a general growth in audio and video chat platforms in the world. The company raised a series of Crowdfunding rounds at Silicon Valley in April. The company was recently valued at $4 billion after a new funding round.

Nonetheless, this early energy has implied various huge tech firms are keen on dispatching comparable sound highlights of their own. Twitter has already rolled out its own Spaces feature, Discord has added Stage Channels, and Facebook, Spotify, Slack, LinkedIn, and Reddit are all at varying stages of adding similar audio-only features to their services.

The organization recognized in its post declaring the Android application that the stage had become quicker than anticipated. “This had its disadvantages, as the heap focused on our frameworks—causing broad worker blackouts and notice disappointments, and outperforming the restrictions of our initial disclosure calculations,” the post expressed. “It made us shift our concentration to employing, fixing, and friends building, instead of the local area meetups and item includes that we typically prefer to zero in on.”

With over a year added to its repertoire, Clubhouse has directed its concentration toward drawing in makers to its foundation, and as of late reported the consequences of a gas pedal program that will see it store 50 sound shows on the stage. Presently, with its delivery on Android, Clubhouse is at long last letting US clients with a welcome on the greatest cell phone OS on the planet get included.
