Clubhouse for Andriod

Popular audio-only social media platform, Clubhouse, has finally introduced its Android version app after more than one year of its initial launch. As of now, this app will be available only to users in the US right now and the company said it would be coming to other “English-speaking countries” and all over the world in the future. “Our plan over the next few weeks is to collect feedback from the community, fix any issues we see, and work to add a few final features such as payments and club creation, before rolling it out more broadly,” the company said in an official clubhouse blog website. Users outside the USA can pre-register for access via the Clubhouse page in the Google Play store, to be notified when the Android app is available in their area.

However, Clubhouse says this platform will remain invite-only for now, meaning it’s still not open to just anyone without an invitation. But they can use this audio-chat only app if they are invited by someone who is already on Clubhouse, “as a feature of the work to keep the development estimated,” the organization said in an articulation. Ridiculous, the organization intends to start moving what it says is a huge number of iOS clients who have been waitlisted while the organization fabricated the application’s foundation.

Clubhouse Statistics

Clubhouse – Drop-in audio chat had about 13.4 million users in late March, according to social media research company App Annie. But after peaking in February, with 9.6 million downloads, it had had just 2.7 million in March and 900,000 in April, mobile-app-store analysts Sensor Tower said.

Clubhouse’s popularity has increased significantly over the past year, mainly thanks to a general growth in audio and video chat platforms in the world. The company raised a series of Crowdfunding rounds at Silicon Valley in April. The company was recently valued at $4 billion after a new funding round.

Nonetheless, this early energy has implied various huge tech firms are keen on dispatching comparable sound highlights of their own. Twitter has already rolled out its own Spaces featureDiscord has added Stage Channels, and Facebook, Spotify, Slack, LinkedIn, and Reddit are all at varying stages of adding similar audio-only features to their services.

The organization recognized in its post declaring the Android application that the stage had become quicker than anticipated. “This had its disadvantages, as the heap focused on our frameworks—causing broad worker blackouts and notice disappointments, and outperforming the restrictions of our initial disclosure calculations,” the post expressed. “It made us shift our concentration to employing, fixing, and friends building, instead of the local area meetups and item includes that we typically prefer to zero in on.”

With over a year added to its repertoire, Clubhouse has directed its concentration toward drawing in makers to its foundation, and as of late reported the consequences of a gas pedal program that will see it store 50 sound shows on the stage. Presently, with its delivery on Android, Clubhouse is at long last letting US clients with a welcome on the greatest cell phone OS on the planet get included.

What is Twitter Spaces and Know About this Audio Chat Room Features

Spaces is an audio-only voice chat feature that lets a host stream voice chats with other Twitter users. Audience members can either listen in or become part of the conversation.

Last year December, Twitter introduced Spaces: a live audio room conversation feature on Twitter. Since then, Twitter has been building and testing with a limited group of people and has found that hearing people’s voices bring conversations on Twitter to life in a completely new way.

Recently, Twitter announced in a blog post that it is opening its spaces feature to all users with at least 600 followers including both iOS and Android users. Twitter also officially plans to launch new features like Ticketed Spaces, scheduling features, reminders, support for co-hosting, accessibility improvements, and more.

Ticketed Spaces lets Space hosts monetize their Spaces for a monetary fee. A limited group of Twitter users will be able to test Ticketed Spaces “in the upcoming months”. Users can also be able to set reminders for spaces and schedule time slots for future Spaces. Co-hosted Spaces are better live captioning, and better access to Spaces via a profile icon on a Twitter feed are all coming to Spaces in the future.

The Spaces feature came about because of the mind-boggling prevalence that emerged from Clubhouse, a startup application dependent on a similar reason: facilitating public voice chat with different clients and permit audiences to tune in live. Clubhouse gained its prominence during the center of the pandemic as many were isolating and investing free time at home.

Spaces available in both android and iOS Twitter app, which is a big advantage as it competes with Clubhouse which is currently available on iOS only.

Here’s what Twitter has to say about Spaces:

You’ve always followed people for their Tweets, now Spaces lets you hear their voices and talk about what’s happening now and what’s most important to you – live. From Tweeting to talking, reading to listening, Spaces encourages and unlocks real, open conversations on Twitter with the authenticity and nuance, depth and power only the human voice can bring.

How to Start Spaces in Twitter

Spaces are public and appear on top of the timeline along with Fleets. It will show up only when someone you follow has started a Space, then you can join the conversation as a listener. Even if you don’t follow that person you can still join if you have the space link. A host can Invite people to join a space by sending an invite via DM, Tweeting the link on your timeline, or sharing other social media platforms. Twitter Spaces has a limit of up to 11 people including the host who can speak but there is no limit on the number of listeners.

Here is the simple step to create twitter spaces

  • Open the Twitter app, and press on the tweet compose button.
  • You’ll see a new Spaces icon which is multiple circles forming a diamond shape.
  • Tap on the icon to start a new Space.
  • You can also start by tapping on your profile image in Fleets, scroll to the far right, and select Spaces.

If you don’t see the icon, the Spaces feature may not be available to you as of now. Accounts with protected Tweets are not able to create spaces. They can join and speak in other people’s spaces.

How Twitter Spaces Works

On Twitter for iOS and Android, when someone you follow starts or speaks in a Space, it’ll appear at the top of your timeline (fleets) as a purple bubble for as long as it’s live. When you join a Space as a listener, you can react to what you hear with emojis, check out any pinned Tweets, follow along with captions, Tweet or DM Space, or request to speak. Anyone can report and block others in the Space, or report the Space if you violate the space rules.

How does Clubhouse App Works?

Clubhouse works based on an invite-only method, so that subscribers can ensure that the people who do get accepted are genuine. The clubhouse is full of ‘rooms’, which anyone can join or start, and are titled with the topic of discussion. Inside, you can see the moderator aka the person who started the room, and the audience. These rooms are audio-only and disappear forever once the chat has finished. In each clubhouse room, you’ll find speakers, listeners, and moderators. The moderator is the person who started the chat and has the power to give a moderator badge to anyone else of their choice. They are also the only ones who can invite those who enter as listeners to become speakers in the chat. If you want to make your own club on the Clubhouse, you need to host your show on the app for three consecutive weeks. This means starting and moderating a room with the same title once a week for three weeks.

This app covers all topics such as sports, tech, life, places, wellness, faith, and more. If you want to speak in a room, you can ‘raise your hand’ and talk on the stage.

Does Clubhouse have an Android app?

As of now, Clubhouse drop-in audio chat app is only available on iOS platform users and not available for android users. But they’re currently working on the android platform, soon we will get this app in the play store too.

As of now, Clubhouse is a pre-revenue platform and currently, there is no option for monetization. However, Clubhouse is planning to roll out beta tests for monetization options before the end of this year. Especially, they’re going to focus on a crowdfunding model that pays creators directly vs. display ads (like Facebook and YouTube).

These are the major things you need to know before diving into this audio chat room app. Right now this Clubhouse application is overtaking TikTok as “the next big social network”. So it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Clubhouse.
